You'll see a board of players from one 5-year window — names and faces, no scores. Trust your gut, pick the one you think had the biggest impact, and we'll reveal his real number. Five rounds, five players, one lineup.

2. Use lifelines

Redeal: Don't like these players? Get a fresh batch from the same window.
Position: Narrow the board to one position you pick.
Double Dip: Grab two players from the same round.
Reveal: Peek at a player's offense, defense, and total before you lock in.
Jump window: Want different players? Jump to a new 5-year window.

3. Score bonuses

Your five picks set the base score, then bonuses stack on top: +3 for a full PG-SG-SF-PF-C lineup, up to +2 for balanced offense and defense, and a +4 Lockdown bonus for a defense over +11. A lopsided roster drags it down.

What's RAPM?

It's a measure of how much better a team played with that player on the floor — the points per 100 possessions he added (or cost them) over a 5-year stretch, after adjusting for his teammates and opponents. Higher is better, and it's the number you're trying to guess on every pick.
